Visit an olive grove of excellence and tradition
The Area of an olive grove Royrie is built in the fifteenth century by the monks of the Abbey of Lerins. Beautifully renovated, the field produces oil AOC olive oil from Nice, and gold medal in international competitions. The visit of the area addresses the themes of regional history, culture and size of trees, the relationship of environment and heritage, picking olives, and method of production of oil excellence. Led by the owners of the domain, it ends with a tasting.
"Visit initiation" or "session Oléologie"?
The introductory visit lasting one hour, you can browse the domain with its owners and to answer your questions on the olive tree, its varieties, the AOC, the conduct of an olive grove, size, crop, mills ... It ends with a tasting oil with suitable food in the basement oil field.
