Jean de Galimard, Lord of Seranon and a great friend of Goethe, lived in Grasse where in 1747 he created the Galimard perfumery. Two and a half centuries later, Galimard continues the tradition established by its illustrious founder who used to supply King Louis "the Beloved’s" court with olive oils, pastes and perfumes.

Free guided tour of our traditional Perfume Factory and Museum : a history of the Perfume industry, the role of Grasse as perfume capital, explanation of the various processes of extraction of raw materials, and the role of the essence laboratory, the creative artistry and work of the Perfumer “the Nose” and the production of essences.

LE STUDIO DES FRAGRANCES
A perfume workshop with the creation of 100ml (3.4 fl.oz) of “Eau de Parfum” (you choose the essences and create it yourself). Includes : initiation to creation and the structure of perfumes, creation of your own Eau de Parfum on an individual working space (the “organ” with 127 essences), helped by our Creation master, diploma of ”Elève-parfumeur”. Duration : 2 hours. Your newly created fragrance will be documented in our data base in the event of re-ordering (formula available in Eau de Parfum, body cream, shower gel...).
Price : 45€ per person (100 Eau de Parfum included).
