PRODAROM is a national trade association whose members are manufacturers of raw materials for the perfumery industry
Activities :
Production of extracts from natural sources aromatic
Purification of these extracts
Extraction of defined chemical species (isolates) from the natural extracts
Changing isolates from chemicals (hemi-synthesis)
Synthetic aromatic chemical species defined (synthetic)
Marketing of the various ingredients mentioned above, or combinations of more or less developed in these ingredients ( "bases" - "specialties")
Creation and marketing of "perfume", complex mixtures consisting of various ingredients mentioned above, in usable condition for the perfuming of various products (alcohol luxury perfumery, cosmetics, soaps, detergents, household products ...).
Prodarom established in 2002 an international school of perfumery, Grasse Institute of Perfumery, welcoming students from around the world to discover or to specialize in the fields of perfumery.
